Custom Home

What We Did: BLM Construction & Remodeling built a 2 story, 4800 square foot custom home with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The house includes a custom stone fireplace, full custom kitchen, and radiant heat fueled by a coal stove. The property also includes a 102’x48’ pole building with a 14’x40’ covered porch off the side of the building. We installed an L-shaped in-ground pool, complete with slide and diving board. The customer also had us build a large outdoor kitchen area.

Challenges: Due to the properties position on a flood plain, 300 tri-axle truck loads of fill were need to raise the home before construction.

Fun Fact: The fill needed for the property came straight from the Dover High School Football Field!

Custom Home Restoration

What We Did: Unfortunately this customer’s original home was destroyed from a house fire. BLM Construction & Remodeling started with the demolition of the existing burnt structure and kept the foundation intact. We worked directly with the customer to redesign their new 3,400 sq. ft., two story custom home. This required adding onto the foundation.
