Job Summary: BLM Construction & Remodeling was hired to repair a car impact at a local martial arts school. We demoed where the damage from the car was located. We reframed the wall, sheeted, installed drywall on the interior, and corrugated metal siding on the exterior. The crew finished by painting to match the existing building.
Key Challenges: The challenge on this job was completing it quickly so company could get back to business in a timely manner.
Wilson Springs Condominium Association’s roof had significant hail damage and reached it’s age limit. BLM Construction & Remodeling was brought in, by the condo association’s board and property maintenance company, to remove the existing roof shingles and install 800 square of new 30 year architectural shingles. They no longer have issues with roof leaks which were causing interior wall and ceiling damage.
Several condo units had issues with cracking and chipping concrete steps. We here hired to tear out several sets of front door steps and replace them with new concrete steps and custom made handrails.
We also had the pleasure of fixing several issues with water accumulation around the foundations and in the yards of four units. Our team fixed the issues by digging a trench out to the culvert in the street and and burying new downspouts in the ditch. Now, all of the water run off goes directly into the downspouts and out to the street. Basement flooding and stagnant backyard water are no longer issues.
At The Bradford apartment homes, BLM Construction & Remodeling, LLC performed various maintenance activities. Our work included resolving plumbing issues related to clogs and drain back-ups, HVAC unit repairs, siding replacements, and retaining wall reconstruction, among other jobs.
