How We Delivered: We built a completely customized master suite from the ground up, beginning with footers and foundation, then framing, window and door installation, and all necessary plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. The interior and exterior were meticulously finished to ensure a cohesive look with the rest of the home. To protect the new addition from potential water damage, we installed a Formadrain system and sump pit, directing water away from the foundation and ensuring long-term durability.
Overcoming Challenges: One of the significant challenges we faced was correcting the inaccurate excavation work left behind by a previous contractor. This required us to make precise adjustments to ensure the foundation and structure were built correctly. Another obstacle was relocating an egress in an existing bedroom to accommodate the new roofline, which interfered with the original window placement.
